Ingredients:
1 (10- to 12-ounce) ball pizza dough, homemade or store-bought
½ cup pizza sauce, homemade or store-bought
1 ½ cups shredded part-skim or whole-milk mozzarella cheese
¼ cup sliced, cooked mushrooms
¼ cup marinated artichoke hearts
¼ cup sliced, cooked bell peppers
2-3 tablespoons sliced sundried tomatoes
Olive oil
Ground cornmeal
Directions:
- Preheat pizza oven for about 45 minutes
- Spread some cornmeal onto your surface and roll out pizza dough to a 12 inch round or to your desired thickness.
- Move the dough to your pizza peel, make sure the peel has some cornmeal as well to prevent sticking.
- Spread the pizza sauce evenly across the top of the dough. Spread the shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce. Top the cheese with the mushrooms, artichoke hearts, peppers and sundried tomatoes.
- Using a brush, brush some olive oil on the edge of the pizza to make sure you get a golden brown crust.
- Slide the pizza into the oven and cook for about 7-8 minutes, rotating constantly during the cooking time.
- Once cheese is melted and the crust is golden brown your pizza is ready to enjoy!
