Thirty minutes before cooking the pizza, put your pizza stone on the middle rack in the oven. If you do not have a pizza stone, skip this step and use a cookie sheet when baking pizza.
Stretch out pizza dough using your hands in a circular motion, then lay on a floured surface and flatten out using a rolling pin. You want to get the dough about 12 inches in diameter. Place dough on a floured pizza peel to make transferring to oven easier.
Once your dough is flat, use a spoon and spread the barbeque sauce, leaving a ½ inch border around the edges. Top with mozzarella cheese, diced chicken, red onion and jalapenos.
Slide pizza onto the pizza stone using your pizza peel. Cook for 14-15 minutes until the dough is golden and the cheese is melted.
After the pizza is cooked, take it out of the oven and garnish with fresh cilantro. Cut into slices and serve immediately.

Instead of a pizza stone or cookie sheet, a round pizza pan with holes works well too.
Don’t stress if your pizza is not round, sometimes mine are rectangular, oblong, all sorts of shapes. This is the beauty of homemade pizza!
